With an introduction of the developing process main contents of "Specification for Weld Construction Acceptance Inspection in West China Gas Transported to East China Pipeline Project", this paper summarized compilation principle main technology characteristics of this standard. The standard contents include: application limits; cited documents; terminology; general principle; welding procedure qualification; acceptance inspection, storage, transportation usage of welding materials; welder qualification examination; field welding method; welding seam testing acceptance inspection.
